Canned zucchini salad

This salad came in handy during zucchini season when we needed to utilize them immediately. We recently opened the first jar and it was immediately empty. It was very tasty and savory, so don't miss this appetizer in the summer season.

Granola

You can change the composition of granola to suit you, I've added the goodies I love and the goodies I want to use but don't eat pure, like flax and pumpkin seeds. I use it very simply: pour it in yogurt or ryazhenka – and breakfast is ready! But you can also add it to cottage cheese, or sprinkle it on top of a pie, or even make a salad.

dried bell peppers

This is a terrific appetizer, can be used for bruschetta or added to unsweetened baked goods (bread, pizza, rolls), or can be munched just from the jar. An awesome appetizer.

Raspberry vinegar

This dressing has been in my kitchen for several years now. I can't go without it! It goes great on fresh salads and meat dishes. I even dress my regular coleslaw with this vinegar.

Apple jam with ginger and a hint of orange

Not long ago I was making apple jam with white pours. A bit of experimentation and I was pleased with the result. At first I just cooked apple jam, but it seemed too plain to me. Then I added grated ginger, and a very interesting note appeared. But that wasn't enough for me, so I added orange zest. Yes, I was happy with the final result :)

Baked plums with nuts and cinnamon

At first glance, it may seem like an ordinary jam, but this is not the case at all. There is less sugar in this dish, the fruit flavor is brighter, the fruit is not boiled, but keeps its shape, besides, the addition of nuts enriches the dish, and cinnamon is the best partner for plums. Everything is quick and easy to prepare, and you can use it with toast, toast, pancakes or just with tea.

Sauerkraut

I usually make squashed cabbage using the brine method and the cabbage always turns out juicy and crispy. But I wanted a change and tried the dry method of cabbage fermentation, which my husband's mom told me. The cabbage according to this recipe turned out delicious and crispy, and the cooking process is not complicated at all. It's a great way to store cabbage for the winter.

Raw feijoa jam

Feijoa is a very useful, although not yet accustomed to our country exotic fruit. Feijoa is rich in iodine, which gives the fruit a specific flavor. If it is not tasty to use feijoa in raw form, but you want to get useful substances, make jam. Sugar softens the flavor, and the lack of heat treatment preserves the useful properties of the fruit. This jam is delicious with hot tea or spread on a sandwich with butter and cheese.

Homemade lard (melted pork lard)

Lard has been cooked in Ukrainian and Russian cuisine for a long time. Lard can be stored for a very long time, and it is used instead of vegetable or butter oil for frying, cooking dough, etc. Do not be frightened by the name, the process of cooking clarified butter is not labor-intensive, although it takes a long time.

Sauerkraut (pickled) tomatoes with mustard

A very simple and not troublesome, but successful recipe for souring tomatoes. I learned it from my husband's mom, and now we always use this recipe to pickle tomatoes for the winter. Sour tomatoes are perfect as an appetizer, or simply with mashed potatoes - delicious.

Sun-dried tomatoes

Sun-dried tomatoes are easy to prepare, but will take time to dry. But in winter, they're a godsend - you can eat them plain, add them to pizza, sandwiches, baked goods, pasta, etc. The recipe is from Natasha, thank you to her.
